The top five trainers in terms of wins

Every year, the Cheltenham Festival showcases the greatest horsemanship in the National Hunt arena, and a number of trainers have been so successful there that they are practically synonymous with the four-day event.

Here, we'll examine the past performance of the top five trainers in the Cheltenham Festival along with their probable runners for the current race.

Over the course of his career, the Closutton guru has trained an astounding 94 Cheltenham Festival winners, including three Gold Cups thanks to Al Boum Photo and last year's victor, Galopin Des Champs.

With six winners from the previous year, Mullins was named the Festival's Leading Trainer. El Fabiolo, Gaillard Du Mesnil, Impaire Et Passe, Energumene, Lossiemouth, and Galopin Des Champs are among the horses that are anticipated to return to the winners' enclosure for the current renewal.

As usual, Mullins will be bringing a strong contingent of runners to Prestbury Park in March. These runners may include Tullyhill, the runner-up in the Champion Bumper last year, Facile Vega, the Champion Bumper winner in 2022, State Man, Constitution Hill's nearest competitor, and Lossiemouth, the winner of the International Hurdle last week.

Nicky Henderson

Nicky Henderson is currently leading the British field in wins at the March meeting and is widely regarded as the most gifted trainer in the country when it comes to training horses for the Cheltenham Festival.

The most well-known of these winners are Altior, who won the Champion Chase twice, Sprinter Sacre, the dual champion Chase winner, and Gold Cup winner Long Run. Not to be overlooked is the seemingly unbeatable Constitution Hill, who is the favorite to win the Champion Hurdle in March after winning it in spectacular fashion the previous year.

This year's Champion Hurdler may be joined at the meeting by Supreme contender Jeriko Du Reponet, the Champion Chase winner from last year, Jonbon, and Shishkin, who just won the G2 Denman Chase at Newbury and is ready for the Gold Cup.
